POM West-Flanders presents Lieven Tack as new managing director. He succeeded Stefaan Matton on the first of July 2020.
The economic policy of West-Flanders has had an enormous impulse in the past 10 years. With the appointment of a new managing director, POM West-Flanders wants to continue on the chosen path and continue to focus on intensive valorisation and international growth.
Lieven Tack is a civil engineer, doctor of applied economics and master of European studies. His experience with socio-economic policy at Flemish and European level gives him a background that is in line with POM’s ambitions. “It is now up to the new managing director to keep the radar work that we have set up with Stefaan running smoothly and to continue to translate the needs of our companies, our employers and employees, our starters and our self-employed persons into concrete answers,” says Jean de Bethune, chairman of POM West- Flanders.
