Newly appointed Minister of the North Sea Vincent Van Quickenborne reveals a blue future in his recent policy note.
Like his predecessors, Mr. Van Quickenborne calls the sea an eleventh province, highly essential for the further development of the country.
The further development of the North Sea policy highlights 5 themes:
1. More blue energy
2. Stimulating the blue economy
3. Protection of the blue nature
4. Strengthen blue shipping
5. More blue at sea
As a Science Park with boosting blue growth as greatest goal, we can not be more happy about these plans!
