Trainee Diplomats Visit Ostend for Inspiring Exploration of Blue Economy and Research

A group of enthusiastic Flemish trainee diplomats recently embarked on a captivating journey to delve into the realm of the blue economy and research in the coastal city of Ostend. The visit, organized to provide an inspiring and informative experience, proved to be a resounding success.

Completion of infrastructure works OSP and new building GEOxyz

On Friday 26th of May , we celebrated the completion of the infrastructure works in our park and symbolically hammered the last stakes of the enclosure around the new GEOxyz building into the ground. This new building will also house the VITO WaterClimateHub.

Blue-bike, the popular bike-sharing company, has announced the launch of their new electric Blue-bikes that in the near future will offer a sustainable and comfortable commute to Ostend Science Park. With this new initiative, Blue-bike aims to provide a convenient and eco-friendly transportation solution for employees and visitors of the park.

European Leaders to Convene in Ostend for Wind Energy Summit

The port city of Ostend will play host to a major European summit on wind energy on April 24th. European heads of government and ministers are expected to attend, including French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
